Annke NVR: Official ONVIF Import - and an Official Disclaimer
Annke's help center shows how to connect third-party cameras to Annke NVRs via ONVIF (H800 series, S500 and others). The same center publishes a notably cautious reverse note: for security reasons Annke does not recommend connecting Annke cameras to other brands' NVRs. Read that before wiring Annke cameras into a mixed system.
How to add a third-party camera
- Use the official per-series guide (H800, S500, ...) to add a third-party camera via ONVIF - plug-and-play is not guaranteed.
- Enable ONVIF on the third-party camera; adopt it in the Annke NVR's ONVIF add flow.
- If running Annke cameras elsewhere, note Annke's official caveat (security reasons) even though ONVIF/RTSP works in practice.
What works vs what breaks on third-party cameras

- Annke cameras on other brands' NVRs - officially 'not suggested' (security reasons)

Common questions
Yes - official help-center articles show ONVIF connections for the H800 series, S500 DVRs and others. The camera must be ONVIF-compliant; plug-and-play is not guaranteed.
Annke's own note: 'for security reasons, we do not suggest the camera to connect to other third brand's NVR systems'. Works via ONVIF in practice, but that is their documented stance.
